About Us
With nineteen years of experience working in property and eleven working as a qualified Chartered Surveyor, the Managing Director Roger Chisnall, BSc (Est Man) MRICS MAPM, started Safehands Projects Ltd in 2004 and the company has grown from strength to strength, offering help to the commercial and not-for-profit sectors.

From offices based in Harpenden in Hertfordshire, our Chartered Surveyor has good transport links to Greater London and the South. In-house expertise covers a broad range General Practice Surveyors skills, making us the best people to approach early in your project for advice on broader management issues such as commissioning and team-building.

Safehands advise national clients, and although focused on London and the South-East, Safehands has advised on properties from London to Birmingham, Exeter to Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Essex.

Roger is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and has a degree in Estate Management. He has recently achieved a Certificate in Management from South Bank University, the Association of Project Management Professional examination and membership of the Association of Project Management.

Roger has worked in both the commercial sector, and public services as a surveyor and project manager. He has advised front line service providers, to improve and develop services through efficient use of property. This has involved building acquisition and disposal, alterations, redevelopment and landlord & tenant work. He has managed a portfolio of commercial properties, undertaken valuations various purposes, compulsory purchase negotiations and other professional work.

Roger has lived in London for most of his life, recently moving to Hertfordshire, where he lives with his wife and two energetic children. In addition to working with Safehands, C-space and the third sector, he still occasionally plays the drums, windsurfs, sails, skis and snowboards (badly) and has recently taken up golf in search of a more sedate pastime!
